Scouts

Another year and the leadership team of our local 116th Lynnwood Scouts group will be working hard to put together an exciting, challenging and fun filled program for our neighbourhood youth.

In Lynnwood we offer the full Scouts Canada program for youth of all ages and it’s never too late to join.  Scouting is an activity that is practiced world wide!

Although programs may vary from country-to-country and community-to-community, Scouting principles remain the same throughout the world.  In Canada, programs vary throughout the country depending on local conditions and local interests.  Following section guidelines, it is the teamwork of youth and adults working together to create and carry out their programs, that contributes to Scouting’s success.  Scouting programs are co-ed and open to ALL who are willing to accept the Scouting promise.  Family members, ages 5 through adult, are encouraged to participate in Scouting.  Parents and interested adults may choose to offer their assistance to a group, assume a leadership role or take on an advisory or area committee role.  Scouting truly offers something for every member of the family.  Give Scouting a try — you may be pleasantly surprised!

It’s never too late to join Scouts!
