Hall Rentals

The Lynnwood Community Hall

Location: 15525 – 84 Ave, Edmonton

Hall is 30’ X 50’   1500 square feet

• Fire code Occupancy: 93 for seated dining; 149 with no fixed seating or tables.
• Overhead florescent lighting on a dimmer switch.
• Kitchen is complete with 1 refrigerator/top freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, a standard stove with oven and plenty of counter space.
• Barbecuing allowed on concrete pad at the side of the hall. BBQ NOT included
• Twenty four 6’ rectangle plastic tables and eight 8’ rectangle tables.
• 123 plastic folding chairs
• Black plastic and chrome stacking chairs.
• His, Hers restrooms with change table.
• Supplies for cleaning. Included in rental fee
• Dinnerware, cookware, or table linens are not supplied by Lynnwood Community League.
• Sound system, overhead projector, and TV available for rent. See chart below.

Lynnwood Hall has a no-pets, no-smoking policy.

Minimum 4 hours

Cancellation Policy:

• Rentals cancelled with less than 14 days notice will forfeit deposit.

Hall Rental Insurance: 

• Renters must purchase insurance when renting the hall for a private function. Please contact your insurance provider to arrange Third Party Liability Insurance. Or you can contact our insurer https://eventinsurance.nfp.ca and request QUOTE from the menu. The average cost of liability insurance for an event is approximately $100. Please do not obtain the insurance before you have submitted your application for review by the Hall Rentals director.

Alcohol being served at an event requires a Liquor License issued by AGLC.

If liquor is provided free to invited guests:

• You will need an AGLC $10 private non-sale SEL licence.  Apply online at AGLC

If liquor will be sold to invited guests

• You will need an AGLC $25 Private resale SEL licence
• If you are an individual, not-for-profit group, or municipality, you can apply online at AGLC
• Companies must contact AGLC to apply for a licence: 1-800-272-8876, ext. 8846
